On this the eve of the sixth anniversary of the attack on our country, I remember Brendan Dolan. He was a truly great quarterback and he rose above the limitations of those around him (I know, I was one of them). He was big and tough and had a tremendous arm. I will forever remember his performance in the 1981 Turkey Bowl where he singlehandedly made a game out of it against Xavier. I recall literally hearing the sound of his arm in motion as he threw the ball down field.

Rest in peace, Brendan.
